Welcome to my official website.

THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO FOLLOW ME AS I EMBARK ON MY WRITING ADVENTURE.

After emigrating to Australia in 2006 from Birmingham, England, I am now extremely proud to be an Australian citizen. I live on the beautiful Redlands Coast in Queensland and love being close to the water.

I love writing short stories and novels that examine our darkest fears but then shine a light on the hope and possibility for us all.

My debut novel Terms of Inheritance was shortlisted for the 2021 Banjo Prize and was published by HarperCollins Publishers Australia on the 30th of November 2022. Terms of Inheritance was also shortlisted for the 2023 Adaptable: Turning the Page to Screen program run by the Queensland Writer's Centre. Terms of Inheritance is out now in paperback, ebook and audiobook.

My second novel, Emergency Exit Only, published with HarperCollins Australia, is now available in paperback, ebook and audiobook. I am thrilled to announce that it, too, was shortlisted for the 2023 Adaptable: Turning the Page to Screen program run by the Queensland Writer's Centre.

I would like to acknowledge the Quandamooka People, Traditional Owners of the lands, winds and waters we call Redlands.

The worth of a book is to be measured by what you can carry away from it. - James Bryce
